PUBG Mobile had been in the news few months back when it was banned by the Indian Government along with 118 other chinese applications, as a move to ensure data security in the country. Such a step had profound impact on PUBG Corporation as India had the largest player base for the game of around 33 Million.

In the recent news, Krafton Inc., the parent company of PUBG Corporation, has been working with Microsoft Azure to safeguard its database and enable the competency of cloud computing to further scale its operations at a global level. Privacy and security being the top priority for the company, shows their diligence in maintaining with the compliances to follow on opening a new launch in India, at the earliest possible. Last week in an official post, the company announced its comeback to India with more enhanced features including a virtual simulation training ground setting with fully clothed characters and few others mainly to promote a healthy gameplay environment - restricted game time for younger generations.

Further, apart from the above modfications, Krafton Inc. has announced to invest $100 Million in India to regulate smooth functioning of offices and promote exclusive esports events/ tournaments.

Last month, the company had declared its plan to create an Indian subsidiary, hiring 100 employees in establishing a collaborative business environment. MD & Co-Founder of Nodwin Gaming, Akshat Rathee has stated,
